new waves of inspiration

so i haven't blogged in ages. not going to do a big sorry post etc etc. i have simply been using instagram more! (see my insta stuff here) I always wanted to only blog when i was inspired to otherwise i would be continuously investing into  proclaiming from some sort of weird soap box that i'm sure no-one (or very few) would read. but if you are reading this! thank you for giving me this time in your day!

I have made a lot of head way on new goals and dreams and ideas about life which i am hoping to blog more about now that I am inspired to do so.

I couldn't believe this meme didn't exist when i looked for it.. really stood out to me from Girls season three. #tooreal?

been a while but started experimenting with some digital art combining my favourite textures and colours. i sort of imagine it is like ingredients coming together.. not necessarily food but could be different music or art or anything coming together to make something new and fresh and strangely clinical. please credit if re-blogged or whatever...

i remember in primary school the very first time i saw my name typed and printed in a computer. i just remember looking at it and thinking that it looked so important... like, how could my name be so important to my typed and printed! an yesterday i finally got my s*** together and made my website! on the weekend i attempted a marshmallow hair rinse semi permanent. i came out a pale purple lilac and it doesn't look as pretty as this that i drew but you know, lilac is cool too.

as you may or may not know i work as a print designer and trend guru at cotton on... i am always inspired by random things around me when designing prints for you to buy in our products... here is a little montage of some stuff that has been released lately that i did upon my return from my big america trip back in May last year... i love the thought of you wearing a little piece of my adventures! the Jeans are for sale now but i think the dress has sold out :( boo and the top you should find a couple still kicking around on the sale rack maybe!

sometimes i dont know how many pieces my heart has been broken into over my short life. but it is always mended again. currently in the mending process.
i like to think that this is what it might look like with facets of gold and facets of gloomy khaki. always remember, all the tough things shape you to be the beautiful shape you are now, dear heart.
